I don’t easily get behind decor trends, but the one trend that admittedly took me a while to get on board with, but have now embraced whole-heartedly, is that of bringing plants into the home. I love me a bit of vintage style, and nothing screams 70’s decor than a room full of plants.
You can imagine my delight when I drove past Mosey, in Yarraville, on the way to check out an op-shop that a friend had recommended, full to the brim with plants, it felt like a mini jungle.
Mosey is an indoor plant and ceramic store that stocks a very tastefully curated range of homewares, cards and handmade ceramics from local Australian and international designers.
They also stock an ever changing range of greenery, which include some of the hottest plants in decor circles, including: Ficus Lyrata (Fiddle Leaf Fig), Ceropegia woodii (Chain of hearts), Spider Plants, Euphorbias, Ficus elastica. Jan Margarson, the owner of Mosey, admits that some plants are easier to keep alive than others, so she will help you choose just the right plant to suit your lifestyle.
If you are in Melbourne’s west or are looking for a special gift for yourself or a friend, pop into Mosey and immerse yourself it’s botanical vibe.
