It&#8217;s the most crafting fun we&#8217;ve had together in a long time.<\/p>\n<p>I remember making a similar shoe box house for my sister&#8217;s Muppet Babies figurines (remember those?).<\/p>\n<h2>You will need:<\/h2>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-56425\" src=\"https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dollhouse-supplies.jpg\" alt=\"shoe box dollhouse mypoppet.com.au\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dollhouse-supplies.jpg 600w, https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dollhouse-supplies-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dollhouse-supplies-330x220.jpg 330w, https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dollhouse-supplies-296x197.jpg 296w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>shoe box with lid<\/li>\n<li>coloured paper for exterior<\/li>\n<li>old magazines (home\/interior ones are best) or furniture catalogs<\/li>\n<li>glue<\/li>\n<li>scissors<\/li>\n<li>decorative stickers (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make a doll house from a shoebox:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Parents &#8211;<\/strong> from magazines cut out pictures of interior scenes, furniture, bookshelves etc&#8230; to &#8216;furnish&#8217; and decorate the interior of the box, and pictures of greenery and trees for kids to paste around the outside of box as a garden.
