\nWell, hasn\u2019t time flown by! Today is our final installment for the Carnivale CAL and it\u2019s finally time to join our cushion pieces and finish them off with some fun pom poms.
\nBy now you\u2019ll have finished your cushion pieces and made your cushion insert, following Cintia\u2019s super easy tutorial<\/a>.
\nSo make yourself comfy and let\u2019s get started …<\/p>\n

You will need:<\/h2>\n

Cushion front & back
\nCushion insert
\nYarn \u2013 Main colour
\nHook<\/p>\n

How to:<\/h2>\n

\n1. Gather your supplies.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Place your cushion front and back together with wrong sides facing. (ie. good sides facing out). Starting anywhere on your cushion, make a slip knot on your hook and insert through all loops, yarn over hook and make a single crochet.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n

    Continue sc through both pieces until you reach half way around.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Pop your insert in and continue sc around until you reach the end.
    \nNow it\u2019s decision time.
    \nIf you will be making your pom poms in a single colour, join with a slip stitch but don\u2019t break off yarn.
    \nIf you will be making multi-coloured pom poms then join with slip stitch and break off yarn.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Pom Poms<\/strong>
    \nIt\u2019s Pom Pom time! I\u2019ve given instructions for making individual pom poms. Yes, it is a little time consuming but worth the spectacular effect!
    \nIf you will be making yours in just the one colour, make the same way, but instead of breaking off your yarn after each one, slip stitch across 6 stitches before beginning your next pom pom.

    \n1. Join yarn with a slip stitch anywhere on your joined cushion. Leave a long tail to help secure when finished.
    \n2. Chain 4
    \n3. Yarn over hook, insert hook into first chain
    \n4. Make a bobble stitch
    \nBobble Stitch
    \n*Yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook.
    \nRepeat from * into same s(tch 3 (mes (4 loops on hook)<\/strong>
    \n\"crochet
    \n5. Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops
    \n6. Chain 4
    \n7. Make another bobble stitch into the first chain as you did in Step 4
    \n8. Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops
    \n\"croxhet
    \n9. Fold this top bobble down towards the first bobble, insert hook into first chain and pull yarn through to make a slip stitch.
    \n10. Make another slip stitch into the same stitch on your cushion where you started.
    \n11. Break off yarn leaving a long tail. Tie both tails together into a single knot at the back of the pom pom so that it\u2019s extra secure. Thread your yarn into a large eye needle and pull your ends back into the pom pom to hide. Use your needle or hook to push any straggly bits back in if you need to. Pom Pom made!
    \nRepeat the process to make your next pom pom around your cushion. I\u2019ve spaced mine 7 stitches apart.
