Eeeep! Exciting! It takes fab photos and has super cute retro styling, but unfortunately the camera strap that came with it was a little bit blah.<br \/>\nThe only solution was to &#8216;get crafty&#8217;!<\/p>\n<p>I found some cute ribbon in my stash that was the same width as the strap and it only took me a few minutes to totally transform it into something pretty special.<br \/>\nHere&#8217;s how I did it&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>You will need:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Your camera strap, webbing or faux leather is suitable<\/li>\n<li>Ribbon the same width as your strap (or slightly narrower)<\/li>\n<li>Hair clip or paper clip<\/li>\n<li>Sewing machine and general sewing supplies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to:<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57121\" src=\"https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/camera-mosaic-.jpg\" alt=\"Camera strap makeover - mypoppet.com.au\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/camera-mosaic-.jpg 600w, https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/camera-mosaic--200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/camera-mosaic--330x495.jpg 330w, https:\/\/mypoppet.com.au\/makes\/mp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/camera-mosaic--307x460.jpg 307w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1. Measure the length of ribbon required to cover the camera strap adding about 1.5cm (1\/2 inch) on each end for folding under.<\/p>\n<p>2. Either pin or clip into place (cutesy heart hair clip optional).<\/p>\n<p>3. Stitch ribbon onto strap (use a long stitch length on faux leather or it may split), try to sew as close to the edge as you can. Make sure the ends are tucked under neatly.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re done!
