\nIf you are looking for an interesting way to decorate your home this Halloween, why not make a planter from an old doll’s head? It has a macabre feel to it in an old fashioned Victorian Memento mori<\/em><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>kind of way, but is still kind of lovable. I love upcycling in new and interesting ways, and this Doll’s Head Planter<\/strong> will certainly get some conversations started.<\/p>\n

Is it creepy?<\/strong> Well that depends if you find eyes that follow you around the room a little unsettling. I’ve grown fond of her and she has found a permanent place in my garden alongside my other plant pots.<\/p>\n

This poor dolly with a mark on her head was rescued from the thrift store, I paid only $1. Several of these would look kind of cool en masse, and would be even more amazing with porcelain dolls heads like these<\/a>.<\/p>\n
