Why be limited to pink? Turquoise, lime or purple would look great? You could even glue on a sprinkling of glitter for some extra sparkle.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">Make a pom-pom flamingo<\/h2>\n<h3>You will need:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Orange yarn<\/li>\n<li>Pink net: cut into long strips (5 mm wide)<\/li>\n<li>Felt: pink, orange<\/li>\n<li>Scissors: fabric and paper<\/li>\n<li>Cardboard<\/li>\n<li>Armature wire: 1X 48cm (head-neck), 1x 44cm (legs)<\/li>\n<li>Needle<\/li>\n<li>Thread: pink, orange, black<\/li>\n<li>Pliers<\/li>\n<li>Fabric marker (air erasable)<\/li>\n<li>Glue and glitter (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can make the ornaments smaller by reducing the print size of the template.<\/li>\n<li>Instead of hanging this little flamingo on a tree, why not display it as a soft sculpture? Cut out both cardboard rings. Layer the two cardboard rings together. Wrap the orange yarn around the cardboard rings, occasionally switching to the pink net. Before pulling this yarn tight, fold in half two lengths of wire and slip into the middle opening of the ring. Tighten the yarn, closing in toward the centre of the pom-pom.
