It’s almost time to start wrapping all those gifts for Christmas, and in the spirit of a Handmade Christmas I thought it would be fun to design my own gift wrapping paper too!<\/p>\n

I’ve created five fun Printable Gift Wrapping Paper designs that will brighten up your Christmas crafts this season. The designs are based on the basic CYMK print colours to give your gift wrapping a contemporary twist. All the papers coordinate with each other so they are easy to mix and match. But the best thing about these colourful paper designs is that you can use them all year round for wrapping birthday gifts or just everyday paper craft fun.

I’ve had fun playing around with them, making Christmas Crackers, gift bows and wrapping little parcels to show off the designs, hopefully it will inspire you to get creative too.<\/p>\n

Making Christmas Crackers<\/h2>\n

Supplies: A4 Printed gift wrap, template, toilet roll tube, glue stick, twine, blade and cutting mat, gifts or treats to fill.<\/p>\n

How to:
\n-I found a free template for Christmas Crackers<\/a> (scroll down) and printed it to fit A4 page (landscape)
\n-Lay template over gift wrap which has been printed in an A4 size.
\n-Cut on solid lines but do not score.
\n-Apply some glue on to the outside of toilet roll, and starting at one edge of paper, roll till its all covered.
\n-Glue edge of paper to seal and secure.
\n-Pinch ends where you have cut out diamond shapes and tie with twine or ribbon. Don’t forget to add your treats!<\/p>\n

Make in different papers for some mix ‘n’ match fun!<\/p>\n

\nYou can make pretty bows with strips of paper too. Here I’ve wrapped a gift with the watercolour paper and created a paper bow from the string pattern paper for interesting contrast. I didn’t make a step by step tute for this bow, but you can find a really good one here<\/a>.

The possibilities for using the paper designs are endless, print onto cardstock to make decorations, for scrapbooking or even project life insert cards.<\/p>\n

Print at home or at a print store. All designs are high resolution A3 size which can also be scaled to fit on A4 paper to print at home.<\/p>\n
