It’s always a good day when a parcel of printed goodness from Frankie Press arrives in my letterbox. Frankie’s house-loving interiors book – SPACES is back with Volume Three, and it’s full of beautiful, lived in homes and the stories about the people who live in them.
Featuring homes and homes-away-from-home all around Australia – from inner-city Melbourne to sunny Alice Springs as well as featuring some creative Kiwi spaces from across the Tasman in New Zealand.
What makes these places special is the time, care and imagination taken to piece them together – whether they’re an eclectic sharehouse, a travelling van, a tiny flat, or a rural gem.
I was particularly smitten with Tannia Lee’s home in Dunedin NZ, (below) with original 70’s wallpaper in every room in the most fabulous colours. The bathroom is amazing.
